Programs
We offer a Montessori Curriculum. One Lead Teacher and one Assistant Teacher work with up to 8 children each day, ages 3 months to 6 years old. Mondays to Fridays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Our program offers Free Choice, this is the block of time for the children to freely move about the environment, exploring and working on what motivates them. This includes building blocks, doing puzzles, reading books at the library, dramatic play, and hands on our manipulative, sensorial, cognitive activities inspired by Montessoir method.
Practical Life The cornerstone of Montessori education, Practical Life builds concentration, coordination, independence and order. Practical Life develops fine motor skills, care of self and his environment, along with grace and courtesy.
Sensorial The sensorial area helps to refine the cold'ssenses. The child will compare and contrast size, shape, color, sound, smell and taste through the use of materials.
Language In this area, the child will develop skills to support reading and writing. These activities develop the child's listening skills and oral, as well as phonetic awareness writing.
Mathematics The math area of learning focuses on concepts of quantity and symbol, teens and tens, decimal system and operations. The concrete materials help the child to have theoretical thinking.
Cultural Studies The cultural studies area helps children better understand the word we live in. Activities that introduce the map of the world , continents of the Earth, and its different elements, and also studying living and non-living things, and the child will be doing more experiments that will help them answer their questions scientifically.
